The drinks & vibes are on point here! Love that they have really unique cocktails but also offer traditional cocktails (with a spin if you'd like). We ordered several items off the food menu to much on as we drank but all were pretty meh, probs would skip the food here!

We visited as a party of four on a Monday evening with a 7:30 reservation and were seated promptly. This ramen spot on the Upper East Side is a true gem! The restaurant exudes a cozy and inviting vibe, making it perfect for easy conversations. The service was excellent--our server was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great drink recommendations that did not disappoint. Every drink we tried was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. As for the ramen, it's easy to see why people rave about this place. While I'm not sure I'd call it the best in the city, it's definitely a strong contender among the top spots. If you're looking for flavorful bowls of ramen paired with great ambiance and service, this is a place you don't want to miss!

Food: we got the egg truffle sandwich, karaage chicken, and I got the kyoto ramen for my main. Drinks: I got the umami old fashioned & chanel no. 5. My friend got the tomato cocktail and blue cheese cocktail. All of the drinks were so unique and good! Overall the vibes, food and drinks, and service were all good!

4.5 but rounding up to a 5! All in all, this was a cute and cozy spot for date night with friendly and attentive service, but drinks/food are hit or miss. We made a reservation for 5:45pm and were seated promptly/reminded that the res was only for 1.5 hours before they had to release the table to the next party. Between the two of us, we ordered: - Umami Old Fashioned (2/5) this was very mid in my opinion. If I could go back in time I would have ordered the Hot Toddy cocktail - Deviled Egg + Egg + Egg (4/5) not bad but I thought the egg was served overly cold (didn't need the ice bowl) - Truffle Egg Sandwich (5/5) loved this and so glad I got it! Had the right amount of truffle flavor in my opinion - Kyoto Ramen (5/5) one of the best ramens I have had in NYC. Loved the noodles and the way they were cooked. The broth was not salty nor fishy in my opinion. It went down very smoothly. - Monkfish, Oyster Curry (4/5) oysters were meh but monkfish was good. Also liked that you can customize your spice level from 1-200 (we got 25 which was like Thai spice level).

Okay just re-chiming in: cocktails are fabulous, we're making this our regular spot now. So glad to have this in the neighborhood!!

Recently dined here on a weeknight with an early reservation and it was lovely! The service was extra great and what a treat for the tastebuds with the food and drinks! Our party of four shared the tuna, egg egg egg, seasonal pickles and truffle egg salad sandwich. The seasonal pickles plate was a little miniature but great flavors. The jellied vinegar on the egg egg egg dish was divine! My main was the truffle vegetable ramen which had a little more oil than I'd prefer normally. Hubby got the wagyu and bone marrow ramen and I think it was lasted about 3 minutes on the table before it was all eaten! Can't wait to come back again.

Great modern Japanese restaurant in the upper east side! We ordered several dishes to share. - Oysters: 10/10 (great oysters that I would recommend getting especially during happy hour) - Sea urchin udon: 10/10 (this was my favorite dish that we got. Loved the creaminess of the uni and saltiness of the ikura and seaweed.) - Chicken curry: 8/10 (so so-- the curry texture wasn't as thick as I'm used to. It felt more like curry soup.) - Cocktails: 10/10 (fantastic cocktails with great presentation!) Service was great and ambiance was very chic. I'll definitely be back when I'm craving some creamy uni ramen and good cocktails!

What a beautiful dimly-lit bar in the UES. The cocktails were fantastic. My first drink was their warm apple cider cocktail and it came in a beautiful glass tea cup. If you're looking for a nice appetizer, the edamame was delicious and wonderfully seasoned. The staff is attentive and we had a lovely time. We came on a weeknight around 8/9pm and there was a bit of a wait (30-45 minutes).

NR was fantastic! The cocktails were incredible, and we had seats at the bar, so we got to see them being made, really cool stuff. Food was great as well, we had the seafood tower (pictured) and really enjoyed the variety, from a ceviche, to a more "Cajun" style soft shell shrimp, to uni and more. Come before 7pm to get the HH deal too! We each tried a ramen bowl - the Sapporo was creamy and delicious, while the Kyoto had more spice. Both were excellent, and around $20 per bowl. Service was phenomenal, with attentive bartenders and servers checking in periodically, even for bar seating. Not the cheapest meal, but you definitely get more than what you pay for here. Strongly recommend!

I came by NR for brunch on the weekend at exactly 12 pm and I was so excited to checked this place out based on a friend's recommendation. The entire place was super vibey and it wasn't too crowded. The waitress was so pleasant -- she was super attentive throughout out time there and so so cute. NR has a large collection of creative drinks and it was so fun to look through the menu -- quite of few of the names gave us a chuckle. I ordered the matcha highball - it was delicious and very nicely complimented my meal. My friends tried the espresso martini, the Smoke, and the Mango Lassi? and seemed to enjoy all of them as well! We ordered a few different appetizers to share (miso eggplant, deviled eggs, truffle egg sandwiches, chicken karaage with matcha salt). I wasn't disappointed by a single one but if I had to pick a favorite, I would choose the deviled eggs. As for the ramen, I ordered the Sapporo and it was a just a tad bit saltier than I would have liked but I did think it was still pretty delicious. We also got us shots on the house right before we left and the head chef, bartender, and waitress all took a shot with us and thanked us. 10/10 service! I'm excited to have found this spot and I'll definitely be back!
